Current Opportunities
Volunteering with Children with Additional Support Needs
Active Schools Edinburgh work with children with additional support needs who often need additional one to one or small group support within our after school sport and physical activity clubs. Do you have experience of working with children with additional support needs or would you like to gain experience in this area? We have a variety of training opportunities that you could access to support you in this role. If you are interested please contact activeschools@ea.edin.sch.uk for more information.
Delivering Multi Sport Clubs to p1-3 Children
Active Schools are looking for volunteers to support the delivery of fun activity sessions for P1-P3 children before school, after school or at lunchtimes. This means that sessions can be accessible to all. You can be paired up with another volunteer and will be given session plans and resources to support your sessions. Days and times will be discussed with you. Full training will be provided. These sessions will be fun, interactive and supportive where you can ask questions and work with other volunteers and get support from Active Schools. Contact activeschools@ea.edin.sch.uk to find out more.
Volunteer and Coach Profiles
