Primary Triple P (6-10 years)  primary

Covid-19 has changed how we deliver courses.  We offer a blend of online and face-to-face groups and can discuss what suits you best when you apply.

Apply online

The Primary Triple P course is for parents/carers and looks at effective techniques for dealing with common childhood behaviour problems in 6-10 year olds.

We explore strategies to manage behaviours such as aggressiveness, tantrums, shouting, answering back and refusing to follow rules.

You will

  • meet once a week as a group for two hour sessions, or study independently online and get support via phone
  • watch DVD clips
  • discuss children’s behaviour
  • work out new ways to manage situations at home
  • talk to other adults in the same situation
  • learn ways to stay calm.

Primary Triple P courses takes place over nine weeks and run during term times.

Some courses are face to face with up to 8 parents/carers in each group, and specially trained group leaders who work with you on goals you set for yourself and your family. You will receive a copy of the Primary Triple P Group Workbook, which provides you with the content of all sessions, space to complete written exercises and an outline of all homework tasks.

Other courses take place online where you study modules in your own time and are supported by one of our specially trained practitioners via regular phone calls.

We will discuss which option is best for you when we receive your application form.
