Activity description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they have downloaded and checked they have access to the Microsoft Teams Application. Suitable for beginners. OVERVIEW / INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE: The script writing course offers a very basic introduction to provide an understanding of the writing toolkit with the techniques needed to channel ideas, characters, plot lines and structure. The tutor is a professional and experienced award winning film maker who will explain about protagonists and antagonists, character flaws, introduce students to the 3 act structure and help learners to develop their own short scripts. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Online as a group. WHAT STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: The short course should help bring in your imagination with an awareness of the correct and formal layout for script writing, and how to mark up scenes, actions and dialogue.
