ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they have downloaded and checked they have access to the Microsoft Teams Application. Beginner level course. OVERVIEW INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE:  Start the first chapter of your memoir with Write to Remember’s beginners course. Over the five weeks we will look at how/where to start, structure, voice and the all-important editing. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Interactive video sessions, written notes, class exercises, pre-recorded videos and a sharing.   WHAT STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: To craft the first chapter of your memoir, finding your voice and the crux of the story you want to tell.   MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENTS / ADDITIONAL COSTS: Notebook and pen/pencil. Object prompt for first session. WHAT COULD STUDENTS DO NEXT?   Use the learned craft to continue writing their memoirs, sign up for the ten-week, more in-depth course or the online Creative Journalling workshop.
