Activity description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they have downloaded and checked they have access to the Microsoft Teams Application. Suitable for beginners. OVERVIEW / INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE: You will develop competence in a range of predictable simple everyday language tasks. The course will provide knowledge of the structure and vocabulary of the German language. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Based on a step by step approach, the course is divided into learning blocks each of which focuses on practical, useful and manageable language. You will develop cultural awareness of the German speaking world. Homework tasks will be set each week to consolidate what you have learnt in class. WHAT STUDENTS CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: Greetings and farewells , introducing yourself, saying how you are, work and hobbies, likes and dislikes, family relations, ordering food and drinks, talking about daily routines. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENTS / ADDITIONAL COSTS: Tutor will advise at first session if required.
