Activity description

LEVEL OF COURSE & ANY ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS suitable for all ages and levels of flexibility, fitness and experience (beginner-intermediate). Modification of the exercises will be offered to suit everyone’s needs. Additional health questionnaire requires to be completed once enrolled. OVERVIEW /INTRODUCTION TO COURSE Strengthen your body and mind, increase your flexibility and reduce stress. Yoga will help develop your emotional regulation, improve your ability to relax and experience a general sense of wellbeing. HOW WILL THE COURSE BE TAUGHT?   Interactive live classes with option to personalised verbal adjustments (corrections) to make the most of the practice and keep the body safe. Modifications of the exercises will be offered to suit any level of flexibility, fitness and experience. Each class will consist of key concepts of Yoga, pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (postures) and savasana (relaxation).  WHAT CAN STUDENTS EXPECT TO LEARN?  By the end of the course students will have: improved physical fitness including suppleness, strength, stamina and balance; knowledge of basic yoga concepts, poses and breathing techniques; learnt to relax consciously body and mind; and enhanced concentration, awareness and general sense of wellbeing. ARE ANY RESOURCES REQUIRED A mobile device or computer with camera that enables the tutor to see you during the class and allows you to interact WHAT DO STUDENTS NEED TO PROVIDE?   Please wear comfortable clothes (loose and/or elastic) that allow you to move freely. We will use a yoga mat and a light sofa blanket or similar in order to stay warm during the relaxation. ARE THERE ANY HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW? Make sure you have enough space around you and your mat to move freely and safely. Keep your mat clean by wiping it with antibacterial product before and/or after every session.
