Activity description

Please bring a packed lunch and drink if required. Tutor’s Course Description: ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: No formal entry requirements. All levels welcome. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: • You will learn how to print using natural dyes and materials • You will experiment by creating you own prints on fabric using natural dyes and material • We will explore ways to utilise local resources and repurpose food waste • You will be shown how natural dyeing can be used to upcycle & transform clothes • Participants will leave with the knowledge and skills to continue to use this technique at home HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Presentation, practical demonstration, followed by individual discussion and guidance. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENT; APPROXIMATE & ADDITIONAL COSTS: All material and equipment is supplied at a cost of £10, payable to the Tutor, in cash, on the day.
