WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: By the end of the course students will have: - learned how to look and how to simplify; - understood qualities of Light, colour and layering; - developed contrast in creating images or abstract; and - gained confidence with acrylics and sketching materials. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Practical indications and ongoing demonstrations in Seascape, Landscape (including urban), trees and still-life. The emphasis is on flexibility as well as learning new skills with group and individual guidance and opportunity to develop your own style. We paint, rather than photographic style copying.
