Activity description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: No previous experience necessary and students of all skill levels are welcome. For Health & Safety reasons it is important that you have good use of both hands, If you have any concerns, you can contact the tutor direct to discuss: GENERAL AIM OF THE COURSE: To make "on trend" cards and other crafty items from paper/card. LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the end of the course, students will have learned how to: - die cut with various cutting machines,use embossing folders & die cutters, stamping using the most appropriate inks- colour with promarkers or other mediums- use templates to make 3d designs- experiment with other papercraft options e.g. quilling, book folding, parchment, heat embossing , Mixed Media Canvas and much more GENERAL APPROACH TO THE COURSE: A fun, relaxed course. Tutor demonstration of equipment, techniques and samples; students can copy samples or use equipment to make their own creations; individual assistance as and if needed. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENTS: students are advanced to bring there own preferred tools also any of their own materials to use in class. there is a small fee of 50p per week this is to help with replenishment of items. TUTOR BIO: Jacqui loves all forms of crafting, with papercraft being her number one passion. She has a craft concession @ Leith Mills Bangor Road in Edinburgh
