Activity description

When learning a foreign language, speaking is one of the most difficult skills to improve. However, there are many techniques and exercises that students can learn and do in order to boost their confidence in speaking, and improve their communication skills. This “French oral practise” workshop will give students tools to improve their speaking and perfect their French pronunciation. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: This course is ideal for post beginner, intermediate and advanced learners. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: By the end of the course students will have learned/be able to: - been introduced to various techniques to improve their speaking; - pronounce vowels correctly; and - narrate a French text with confidence. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: The teacher aims to create a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere using mainly drama/acting games for the students to enjoy learning. The main work will be done on eye contact, French phonetic, improvisation to get by when visiting France and narrating a text. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENT; APPROXIMATE & ADDITIONAL COSTS: A pen and a block notes. Please wear comfortable clothes.
