Activity description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: All levels -beginners to advanced. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: By the end of the course students will have learned/be able to: - choose appropriate materials for projects, learn a variety of stitches and techniques, colour mixing and designing. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Beginners will be offered a project kit which will introduce them to a variety of techniques and how to mix and blend colours. More experienced students may wish to work on projects and techniques of their choice and which are within their capabilities and encouraged to experiment. All students will be given individual tuition while various topics and tips will be given to the class as a whole. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENT; APPROXIMATE & ADDITIONAL COSTS: Wooden embroidery hoop approx. 8 or 10 inches diameterwith inner ring bound with white cotton tape (this can be done in class); embroidery scissors. Work in progress if wished. Tutor can provide kits for beginners including materials, crewel wools and needles for a small sum around £8.00
