Activity description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: No formal entry requirements. Students should have some experience in Watercolour Painting. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: By the end of the course students will have learned/be able to: - handle watercolour paint, paper and brushes with confidence; - improve painting skills; - develop an understanding of tone, contrast, colour and composition; - been introduced to a variety of subject matter; and - understand how best to express and interpret the chosen subject. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Demonstrations followed by group and individual discussion and guidance. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENT; APPROXIMATE & ADDITIONAL COSTS: For the first class, paper, pencil, rubber and any watercolour related materials that you already have including a soft brush, watercolour paper and paint. Students may wish to wait until the class commences to purchase any further materials and also to confirm viability of class. Also discount can be obtained from certain suppliers on production of class receipt. NB: There is very limited parking available at this venue, particularly when school events are taking place.
