Activity description

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: None, All levels welcome. However if you already have some experience with drawing and painting watercolours then the Post Beginner course might suit better. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO LEARN: By the end of the course students will have learned: - how to use full range of drawing pencils to render a tonal drawing; - how to draw a compositionally correct under-drawing for watercolour painting; and - about colour mixing and painting techniques. HOW THE COURSE WILL BE TAUGHT: Demonstrations combined with group discussion and individual tuition. MATERIALS REQUIRED BY STUDENT; APPROXIMATE & ADDITIONAL COSTS: For the first session students should bring a sketch book and pencils, watercolours and watercolour pads if they already have them. This is a good idea so that we can look at what else might be required for the course. Discount is available at art shops like Greyfriars with the course receipt.
