Activity agreements

An activity agreement is an agreement, between a young person and an advisor, that the young person will take part in a programme of learning and activity to help them to get ready for formal learning or employment.

Find activity agreement activities below.

Eligibility

Activity agreements are open to 16-19 year olds who are unemployed and require additional support to help them develop their skills to access formal education or employment.

What is offered

We provide

  • an advisor to discuss options and reduce barriers to access
  • training to help develop knowledge, skills and experience
  • ongoing support until you have achieved a positive destination.

Local hubs provide access points for regular support.

You may be eligible for an Educational Maintenance Allowance if you take part in an activity agreement.
