Welcome to the Adult Education Programme

Edinburgh's Adult Education Programme (A E P) has been running for over 100 years, offering day, evening and weekend courses to 10,000 plus students per year.

Courses starting from Monday 25th October 2021 at Carrickvale Community Centre, Gladstone’s Land, Pentland Community Centre, and South Bridge Resource Centre are available to book online now.

From Monday 8th November we have courses starting at Leith Community Centre and Northfield/Willowbrae Community Centre. These courses will be available to view and book online from Thursday 21st October. Telephone enrolments will be available for 2 days on Thursday 21st October and Friday 22nd October this week from 10:00 – 16:00 by calling (0131) 469 3003 or (0131) 469 3005.

Please be aware it is a reduced programme so not everything previously on offer will be available. Time has been spent ensuring all health and safety issues have been taken into consideration for a safe return to the classroom. Guidelines will be issued to those who enrol on a course prior to it starting.
