Tuesdays 10.00am - 11.00am starting 27th October 2020.

1 hour a week for 5 weeks.

Level of course and entry requirements

Participants must be available to attend every session of the course.

Beginner level.  No previous knowledge necessary.

Overview / introduction to the course

A fun and creative flower course focusing on many aspects of flower arranging.

How the course will be taught

The tutor will demonstrate by creating flower designs online and helping students with their own arrangements. Students can also interact with the tutor and ask questions etc. 

What students can expect to learn

How to make beautiful flower designs within the seasons. Hints and tips on wrapping, buying flowers, sundries and flower conditioning etc. 

Resources required by students and additional costs

Pen, note pad and strong pair of scissors. Students are required to buy their own containers, flowers and greenery. The average cost is £7 – 9 per week. 

Health and safety guidelines

Students will require a clean and dry area to work on that isn’t too low. Kitchen counter or similar. They will need to be careful when using scissors, knife, wires and glassware for this course. 

What students could do next

For complete beginners have a look online at flower arrangements they like using Pinterest or Instagram and save some images for future designs.
