Welcome to the Adult Education Programme 

Edinburgh's Adult Education Programme (A E P) has been running for over 100 years, offering day, evening and weekend courses to 10,000 plus adults per year.  

Our autumn programme is now ready to view. We have online, outdoor and venue based courses available starting Monday 5th September 2022

The full programme can be browsed here and bookings will start from Wednesday 10th August. Please note that all price bands do not show until the courses are bookable. As usual, there will be Standard, Concession and Reduced fees available. Example - Standard fee for 5 week course £43.50, Concessionary fee £21.75, and Reduced fee £17.25.

Lines are open 10am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 10am to 3pm Fridays.  There is often a high volume of calls so please book online where possible to secure your place.

Have you ever thought of teaching adults? We will be holding interviews soon and would welcome expressions of interest. Subjects are wide and varied and can be taught in person at venues, outdoors or online. If you have a subject you are passionate about and have experience of teaching, please send an email to adult.education@ea.edin.sch.uk
